About The Planning Committee

Marc D. Feldman received a B.S. degree from Duke University, Durham, NC, in 1977 and his M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, in 1981. He has published 15 full length articles in peer reviewed journals related to conductance technology.


He completed his internship and residency at Billings Hospital, University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, and did his fellowship training as a clinical and research fellow in cardiology at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. He is currently Professor of Medicine, and Engineering, and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, Division of Cardiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.


Rudy Trevino received a B.A. degree in Biology from St. Mary's University, San Antonio, TX in 2001, and received a M.S. degree in Biology in 2006 from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Mr. Trevino has spent the last 3 years mastering the data acquisition and analysis systems employed in invasive cardiac admittance studies.




Daniel Escobedo is a research associate in the Department of Medicine/Cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has over 25 years of experience in animal surgery with expertise in microsurgery in rodents. He has also been a consultant for Millar Instruments and Scisense Inc. and is a co-author on 12 published papers.




James Jenkins graduated from Trinity University in 2008 with a B.S. degree in Biology. During his employment in the rodent admittance laboratory he has gained extensive experience with the data acquisition and analysis systems utilized during invasive cardiac hemodynamic studies. He also has experience as a Teaching Assistant in Vertebrate Physiology at Trinity University and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) throughout his college career.
