Program (Course) Description

This online enduring material course is an intense review designed to assist the physician in updating his/her knowledge by presenting practical information that can be used in the office. It is oriented toward physicians who maintain an active outpatient and inpatient practice.

 

Who Should Attend?
This course is oriented towards physicians who maintain an active outpatient and impatient practice.

 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
  • To provide Palliative Care as a model of ethical care
  • To utilize effective cross-cultural and ethical communication when delivering bad news
  • To list ethical principles commonly utilized when developing a plan of care
  • To assess and effectively manage pain and non-pain symptoms ethically

Upon completion of viewing the online presentation, please follow the instructions at the end of the presentation to complete the evaluation. Once the evaluation is completed, the user will be provided the option to print their certificate.
