Course Description

The format of the course is varied including lectures, question and answer sessions, informal luncheon seminars and workshops on selected topics, with the opportunity for registrant participation. 


Who Should Attend?

This program is designed to provide new information and skills for the physician, advanced practice nurse, and healthcare provider who treat children.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  • Provide the physician, advanced practice nurse, and healthcare provider who treat children with current and practical information dealing with the procedures that may be useful in their general practice.
  • Provide a series of presentations by distinguished guest faculty specializing in the fields of Pediatric Orthopaedics, Pediatric Endocrinology, and Business of Medical Practice.
  • Provide pediatric-specific updates in the fields of: Adolescent Medicine; Child Abuse; Complementary and Alternative Medicine; Dentistry; Dermatology; Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics; Gastroenterology; Infectious Diseases; Neonatology; Neurology; Obesity; and Pediatric Psychiatry.

Cancellation Policy
The registration fee includes three continental breakfasts, two buffet lunches, refreshment breaks, and access to downloadable handouts. The Office of Continuing Medical Education reserves the right to limit enrollment and cancel any course no less than one week prior to the activity. Should circumstances make this necessary, your registration fee would be refunded in full. If you must cancel, the registration fee will be refunded less a $50 handling charge if notice is received by May 26, 2017. Cancellations received after May 26, 2017 will not be refunded.
