Program (Course) Description
The one-hour, online, enduring material activity is designed to teach physicians the epidemiology of major tick-borne diseases in Texas and throughout the United States as well as acquire the skills needed to identify the signs and symptoms needed to perform the appropriate diagnostic testing and treatment of major tick-borne diseases in the United States.
Who Should Attend?
This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, pharmacists and administrators.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity the participants will be able to:
- To learn the epidemiology of major tick-borne diseases in the United States and specifically in Texas
- To learn clinical signs and symptoms, appropriate diagnostic testing, and treatment of major tick-borne diseases in the United States
Physician Participation
Upon completion of viewing the one hour online presentation, please follow the instructions at the end of the presentation to complete the evaluation. Upon completion of the evaluation, an option to print the certificate will be provided.
